Is the content in bm units 1 and 2 related to the content in units in 3 and 4.Will units 1 and 2 help with units 3 and 4?

In all honesty, not really. BM Units 1&2 focused largely on small scale organisations (to my knowledge), whereas unit 3&4 predominately focuses on large scale organisations. There are a few topics that relate, however, there isn't too much that does.

I didn't do Units 1&2 BM.

It's not difficult to pick up in 3&4, however, it would have been useful for me if I did 1&2 to practice writing clear BM responses. It's easy to write responses to questions, but the way you explain it really matters, especially when linking it to a case study. This only became a problem for me in the first SAC. After that, I kept practising, and I'm now in the Top few of my cohort at school.

The content in Units 3&4 BM is not hard, but you have to understand it well enough, and more better than the rest of the state. The more you understand it, the more you can apply it to different situations and separate yourself from the rest of the BM Students. If you do pick up BM, always do Practice SACs, and give them to your teacher to mark. Practising your writing skills early on, will reward you later on.

Good luck with your decision.

Somewhat.
Performance Indicators, Environments and some general knowledge about businesses/organisations is taught in year 11 which is relevant to year 12 business, although, it can be easily learned.
