My teacher handed out a booklet full of useless questions to which is supposed to be completed while she's holidaying around the world during term 3. She said its a hurdle requirement and if it's not completed she can fail people. Can she do this, even though I pass every SAC?

Probably not. It's hard to say definitively though. It's in the teacher's best interests to make sure that you pass all of your assessment, so it'd be fairly stupid to fail a student over something like that, because at the end of the day, it reflects poorly on them though. Strictly speaking, I'm sure she kind find a way to legitimise that, but I doubt that she would. Just do the questions.

I don't know which subject this is for, but our English teacher always says that we should complete all set homework, otherwise she can fail us as we won't have 'satisfactorily completed coursework'. So, yes, I think she can- although, I doubt she will, because it's a bit cruel.
