When is a good time to start doing further practice exams if the VCCA exam is on the 1st and 4th of November?
Thanks!

I'm planning on starting during the holidays after term 3, up to the time we have exams. I'm planning to do about 40 of each exam! Time shouldn't be a problem - just got to work on as much as possible and expose myself to as many possible questions.

Quality>Quantity.

I started practice exams last year for further about now, this time of year, August. I only did about 17 exams but after each exams, I went through how I could improve each time and not fall for the same tricks thoroughly and not get burnt out. Btw, you have less time than you think to do exams. There were people in my year level who did 40 exams but because they were making the same mistakes instead of reviewing how to not make those mistakes again in the exam.

I know. For me personally, knowing myself and how I would do well, 17 is no where near enough for me. But you're right - knowing where you have made a mistake and developing a strategy not to repeat that mistake is paramount. Do you have any tips for practice exams?

I'm starting my exams next week, and plan on doing 2+ a week and the questions I get incorrect, writing in a exercise book,so I can back and review them to try and weed out the errors

That's what I'm going to do as well + a precautions list! I'll then read over that the night before the exams!

I will be doing practice exams from September 20 onwards. I don't actually think you should definitively say you're going to complete "x amount of exams" because it may not be enough. Someone may feel comfortable after doing 10 exams and some people may not feel comfortable after 40 exams.
