Is that a prompt for landscape I see?

In response to it, YES, definitely.
What we believe in (being a pacifist/racist/feminist etc.) clearly has an impact on how we view society: not just how it is, but also our perception of the past, and perhaps even of the future. And the physical world? Well, I think you did ONTM, right? So, with regards to this, think about how Paul Kelly's character (sorry forgot his name) reacts to the harsh Australian outback climate, compared to the Indigenous Australian, who doesn't look to change it, such as erecting fences; shutting windows; saying that
this land is mine, in place of
this and is me (love that song

), taking from nature, but giving back at the same time.
Other examples?
Hum, well you could think about the gay marriage debate: an example that works well for a lot of context prompts. There are people who want change, people who are adamant not the change, and people who really don't care. Now, their personal values would be all different: progressives/conservatives/i-don't-care-ers (to put a loose label on each of the groups), and also their beliefs: that for some, one should not be denied the right to marry the one they love; whilst for others, the idea of men marrying men, and women marrying women, is utterly absurd and disgusting.
Values: well, a good one to use is the idea that the majority of people value the preservation of life. So, think suicide bombers, animal rights activists...that sort of stuff. Other values you could explore are: love, humanity, courage, perseverance, hope...
There is quite a bit to talk about: researching for other real-life examples would perhaps be the best place to start.
