Has it changed from 08?

Most of the changes were in Unit 3 (like transistors and vertical circular motion) and not in Unit 4.  I asked my Physics teacher what the changes were in Unit 4 and he said, "Bugger all."

I was just wondering... in the Heinemann book for unit 3, there was like 3 exercises for two detailed studies and like 8 for structures. My school chose structures and I found it to be annoying at the start but it ended up really easy.

Unit 4 (Heinemann book) has something similar with sound being the largest.
So yeah which detailed study do you think is the most common common? easiest? best one to do?

I've sort of figured out a trend:

1.  If you did "Einstein's Relativity", then you'll do "Synchrotron" in Unit 4.
2.  If you did "Structures and their use in materials", you'll do "Sound" in Unit 4.
3.  If you did "Further electronics", you'll do "Photonics" in Unit 4.

Has that happened to everybody?

Yes sound would be the easiest in my opinion.

In that case, my theory goes up in dust.

My teacher chose structure for unit 3 and synchotrons for unit 4
