Last year I looked up Bachelor of Science at UoM and I wasn't eligible because I didn't do a science subject (chem, physics or bio), but this year, it seems as if they've changed their mind and will now let a meth/spec combination in as well.
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in English other than EAL; and a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods (CAS) or Maths: Specialist Mathematics; and a study score of at least 25 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Maths: Mathematical Methods (CAS), Maths: Specialist Mathematics or Physics.
Does this mean that if I can get a 25+ in English (and meet the ATAR requirements), I will be able to get into Science at Melbourne next year?
Edit: also, is English (EAL) the same as English (ESL)? I've never heard of EAL before.
