"A husband and wife are 91 years old in total.
The husband is twice as old as his wife was when he was as old as she is now.
How old are they?"

Why is this in the spesh forum?

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

Let be husband's age, be wife's age.

Now the next sentence is a bit tricky: when was the husband as old as she is now? well this happened years ago. But that means that the wife was years old at that point in time. But the husband is twice as old as this age, hence .

Now you should do be able to do it.

edit: 91 is sum not 90 lol can't read :/
