I was having some problems with a maths question, if anyone can help it would be most appreciated

the hieght of a cylinder is 43 and the diameter is 5.2. If the diameter is doubled to 10.4 and the height is increase by 5/3 what is the height?

Are you after the new volume (?) or the new height (which must simply be 5/3 x 43) ?
If the new volume, you could just find the new diameter and new height and use the volume formula for a cylinder.
