Im looking for a good specialist maths bound reference, should I buy one and if so where?

No, no no no. Don't buy one. End of story.

Even if you do buy one, it will take you a while to get used to it and the last thing you want is to waste time in the exam flipping through an unfamiliar book... and what if its missing whatever you're looking for? D=

Better to make one yourself that is tailored to your strengths and weakness. Also making it yourself will familiarise you with its contents so you can easily find stuff.

Highly suggest that you keep a little log book of the mistakes you make in trial papers, that might give you a good idea of what you need to put into your bound reference :)
