Change pressure?

Can someone explain to me exactly what change pressure is? i can't seem to find it in my textbook, and can you give some examples too? thank you :) Doing the fair fax sac soon (late, i know, my teacher is lazy) and apparently it focuses on this aspect

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe change pressures are just sources of change.
So that's pretty much the pressures exerted from the 3 environments.

Such as:
Customers - They changing preferences, the business must change in such a way to cater for their preferences.
Competitors - The business must keep up with their competitors because they don't want to fall behind
Technology - Due to the technology advancements, businesses may want to use new technology to increase their productivity and efficiency to get a competitive advantage

Pressures for change can come from one of the three environments where a person or group of people do not like a particular process or way in which things are done in an organisation. The pressure for change could be big or small.

e.g. Customers (Operating Environment) may place pressure on an organisation to be socially and ethically responsible.
