edit: oops I've created this thread in the wrong section. please move this thread moderators!

I'm trying to write an essay for the prompt:

"Kazan film uses cinematic techniques to highlight the struggle between good and evil"

please suggest improvements on what I have here and what I can write about in the other 2 paragraphs!

I'm trying to plan a brief outline on what each paragraph will be about, but I'm getting stuck.

What I have so far:

1. Terry struggles with his own evils as his conscience is tainted by guilt ; eventually overcomes this and reaches moral clarity by testifying against the mob, proving to himself his own goodness, his desire to not be a bum plays a role as well
key scenes: bar scene with edie "you'd help me if you could" (music, brando's anguish when acting etc"
terry's final confrontation: "ratting on myself", berates JF, (stance, terry's mannerisms"

2. Father Barry: his attempts to conquer the mob(the root of evil on the docks) is a struggle because of DnD attitude of longshoremen

key scenes: sermon in the hold, high angle shot, (need more film techniques for Fr Barry)
