ROUNDING

Hello everyone,
Apologies if this was already answered but I have a question about rounding. If you need to use a value from a previous question to answer a question and if they say HENCE, do you use the rounded value? Or if they don't specify anything, rounded or unrounded?
I have much confusion on this.

Thanks so much!

I think you use the unrounded figure, even if it says "Hence".

I don't know about Further, but I know in Methods that my teacher has told me to always use the unrounded number. :)

What if you had to find the least squares regression line in the previous question to 2 decimal places, and then the next question says use this equation found in the previous part to predict ....
Do you use the figures to 2 decimal places (the LSR equation with rounded off figures ? or use more decimal places)?

If it tells you to use the previous (rounded) answer, then do that. Otherwise, keep the unrounded numbers on your calculator and use them.

I'm pretty sure that (for Further) it doesn't matter which one you use in your workings because they accept both resulting answers.

I usually used the unrounded figures, but sometimes I used the rounded ones if I felt like it.

The assessors for Further expect students to use either rounded values from previous answers or unrounded values. Just don't round off in the midst of a calculation.

Also, I'm pretty sure the script that the Assessors get when marking has a few acceptable figures for different rounded figures.

What if the question is a multi step process, like a 2 marker, do we need to use unrounded numbers then?
