What can you get if you got high A+ in SACs, highest A (on the brink of A+) and high A+ at end of year?

a friend did bio ( yeah i know its bio, but i think chem shouldn't differ that much), got A+ for sacs, high B midyear and high A+ end of year and grabbed a 40, so you would probabbly be looking at the scores that ninwa predicts..

im assuming that the A+ must have been almost near perfect then unless the exam was difficult then the A+ must have been top mark anyways.

i dunno coz i don't do bio. she was absolutely devastated when she saw the 40 study score, 45 had been something that she was looking at. bio exam was hard last year if i remember correctly?

so the same logic applies here. both chem exams this year are likely to be hard which enables over9000 to be slightly optimistic about his final study score. just donj't give up and you never know what's gonna happen lol

hell yeah.

year 11 is the time when most of us have only a vague idea about how horrible the extent of competition that exists in VCE subjects are ;)

You could lose something like 20 marks for bio endyear last year and still get A+. Chem endyear may turn out to be hard, but probably won't be that hard. I say this because chem will always have a fair share of calculation questions that can be predicted, bio basically only has explanation questions and sometimes they can be a bit ambiguous and at other times your explanation could gain only 1/2 marks. The one calculation type question (which is simple ratios) that they normally give every year was left out of last year's endyear exam. So yeah I reckon if chem endyear is hard this year it'll probably have a similar A+ to the midyear. Just my opinion though, anything can happen.
