Hey everyone. I got my UMAT back a while ago, 91th percentile. At first I thought that would be enough, considering a great ATAR, but frankly, what kind of ATAR score would I require for an interview place, that is, if I can get one at all?

Each year the requirements are different, so it is hard to tell. For 2014 entry, they wait for your ATAR to come out first and each section of your UMAT needs to be above 50 before giving you an interview offer.  So I can't promise you what atar score is "enough" to get an interview place.  If I have to pick a number, 99.80+ would be on the safe side.

Well crap. That's gonna be hard. What about second round offers? And btw my scores were 65, 50, 64 if I remember correctly.

It's going to be tough with 91%ile, but not impossible. I got in with 92%ile and 99.35 ATAR, albeit my 92%ile score was 188 (so 9 above yours - which is a lot I guess). Just try and smash your exams I guess :)

Monash doesn't have second round offer next year.  Also, that was just my guess.  I think mid-99s would be ok (but again no one really knows the cut-off...until they send out the interview offers :P)

Ok. Damn this is scary. I've heard a lot of weird scores that people have gotten getting them into medicine at Monash. I know someone who got 82 percentile and 99.2 ATAR, and got in. That was in 2011 though.

I possibly know that person, but yeah those are anomalies. Most of the weird scores you see are either due to some sort of SEAS, very strong interviews, or being rural.

Well I guess I could pull a mid 99 if I really smash my exams. But seriously. I'm shaking right now! I guess I'll go study lol.

And if you don't mind me asking, what scores did you get? That goes for everyone. I just want to know some other peoples.
