Any help on how to do this or any examples of LSO's which can apply to a case? In practice exams I often tend to explain the steps well but provide generic links to the case so I'm not sure if that will get a good mark out of 10.
One more thing: just to clear this up, in an organisation such as a water rides park the inputs would be the rides, transformation be cleaning ,maintenance, testing and outputs be happy customers? And what kind of layout is used for this type of organisation? I get a bit confused with this sometimes.

well if its a service organisation then yes, your inputs and outputs are right
also what do you mean generic links to the case??
usually you explain how the change process has impacted a large scale organisation and then use one of kotters steps to state how it can try to overcome the issue, such as saying
as stated in step two of kotter's theory, Forming a powerful coaltion, this involves forming a group of members from the organisation with authority and skill such as great communicational skills who have the abillity to go onto the worksite and explain the benefits that will result from the change process to alleviate fear from employees, and in return should result in the employees supporting the change as the organisation has atleast decided to show a concern for the welfare of there employees.
but remember to use the case you have studied, probs get out another 3-4 lines with a large scale organisation you have studied. and also be specific about inputs and outputs with the large scale organisation
for example for Linxfox, you wouldnt say a input is a wheelnut, you would say inputs are this
linfox's inputs consist of trucks and trailers which are utilised to deliver their products all around australia.
