Don't buy any books and use shinnys notes. More concise, to the point and outlines everything in detail about what you have to know

This book is really good but for me I was just fine summarising the textbook and using the website mrwood.com.au. Shinny's notes are excellent but they contain some things that are not in the current study design

I would suggest that you make your own summary notes, tailored to your learning style. I know it requires time and commitment but come exam time, it sure did pay off for me!

TSSM papers are really good, and very close to  VCAA standards.
Compak papers are ridiculous & for me personally, had zero beneficial value.
Good luck, (:

get a feel for a variety of different styled papers from different external companies...

CPAP- were my favourite as they were pretty challenging
NEAP- along the same boat
compaq- relatively easier
TSSM- a bit odd worded but pretty easy
MR WOOD- too damn easy
