There is actually a shocking deficit of resources for VCE IT subjects compared to things like chemistry, math or even the humanities. It's not really a popular one for textbook companies. IT:A isn't a "real" area like Systems Administration or Information Technology Law is. It's a bit hard to find books to help you with IT:A unless they are 100% tailor made for IT:A (in that case check the usual places, checkpoints, A+, etc).

If there is a particular area you are struggling with, i think it would be beneficial for you to point that out to us.

oh okay then, it wasn't that i was struggling i was wondering if there was anything that could help me with ITApps for next year like books.

Yeah I was strolling through unread posts, so it's a bunch of categories all put together.

The Nelson textbook covers pretty much all you'll have to know, the questions are useful and the summaries at the end of each chapter are priceless. Probably the next most helpful thing would be to get Cambridge Checkpoints VCE IT Applications Units 3&4. It contains a bunch of questions from past exams which is always handy. Also if you're attending lectures at the end of the year you might pick up some notes and such. Otherwise, as slothpomba said, the subject lacks resources. Just familiarise yourself with the applications you'll be using throughout the year there are always heaps of tutorials you can find for Excel, Dreamweaver etc online. All the best for the subject, :-)
