heh

Im considering Microbiology or Physiology or maybe Anatomy
Microbiology would be so good! So far that's what I'm wanting to major in, but that could change by the time I even have to really think about it. :)

OP: Mathematics.  My signature says so.

What kind of maths interests you?

When you major in maths you have to pick 1 out of 4. There is applied, pure (my favourite 2), statistics and discrete (both are highly involved with statistics and probability - probably my 2 least favourite forms of maths)
2008: Finished VCE

2009 - 2011: Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Physics)

2012 - 2014: Master of Science (Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics)

2016 - 2018: Master of Engineering (Civil)

Semester 1:[/b] Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Risk Analysis, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering

Semester 2:[/b] Earth Processes for Engineering, Engineering Materials, Structural Theory and Design, Systems Modelling and Design

Problem is, it gets more complicated. Once you choose pure maths, you have to decide if you want to major in algebra, analysis, or topology (though of course there's a fair bit of overlap). Then once you choose analysis, you have to decide between linear and nonlinear analysis. And so on and so on...
And discrete maths isn't really that involved with stats and probability at all, to the best of my knowledge.

I don't have to decide a sub-area until 3rd year, and it makes sense to choose then.  I don't know how I'll feel in a year and a half :)
