Are there any penalties for redoing Methods 3/4 for a second time?

I'm also considering re-taking methods and I've been told by my VCE coordinator that they will take the higher score out of the two (regardless of the year you did it). Although I'm not sure if he meant before scaling or after scaling, I'm ASSUMING after scaling. So if you get a higher score this year, then you get to keep it

they take whichever score ends up being the highest after scaling, so if you have a 41 scaled to 46, but on your second attempt get a 42 scaled to 45, you get the 41->46

Yeah I'm not sure if methods is worth repeating auds, since it might not scale as ridiculously next year
