I'm also considering re-taking methods and I've been told by my VCE coordinator that they will take the higher score out of the two (regardless of the year you did it). Although I'm not sure if he meant before scaling or after scaling, I'm ASSUMING after scaling. So if you get a higher score this year, then you get to keep it :)
they take whichever score ends up being the highest after scaling, so if you have a 41 scaled to 46, but on your second attempt get a 42 scaled to 45, you get the 41->46
so yes youre correct :P

Yeah I'm not sure if methods is worth repeating auds, since it might not scale as ridiculously next year

Sorry, I was referring to auds. But I guess you did make a fair point by saying "not happy with".

2013 Raw Scores: 41 Chinese SL. 48 Biology. 40 Methods Methods
2014 Raw Scores: 43 Chemistry. 42 English. 39 Specialist Maths
