Just wondering if anyone has undertaken MGMT30012 Management Consulting or MGMT 30017 Global Consulting Project. They sound awesome and I just wanted to know how you/your mates found it.
Cheers

Did you get an invite?

I got mine last week and considering taking it up.

My mate did it over the holidays last year and he went overseas to "consult" with several multinationals. (Asia) He had a great experience and it teaches you a lot of the skills needed when you start working (ie. working in small SMTs, applying your knowledge to real-world problems, etc.) Plus the fact he got to go O/S probably made it worthwhile.

how does the application process for the Global Consulting Project work? From the webpage it suggests its a multiple round selection process, how early do you need to be applying then? it'd be a bit terrible to have it planned in your final semester of uni, not get accepted into the subject and then have to find something else to do..

Not sure about the Global Consulting Project; I only applied for Mgmt Consulting Project. (Can't afford to go O/S atm)

For Mgmt Consulting Project, all I did was post my abbreviated CV and spent a couple hours putting together a letter of interest (application was all online). I'll see if my mate can give you some more info in regards to the GCP subject; but I doubt it'd be that different.

Did you know which firm you'd be working with when you applied for the Management Consulting subject?
