Subject Choices

Hi, I am definitely locked in to do 1 of my majors in politics and international relations, and also would like quite to learn Spanish. I could do Spanish in the Diploma of languages, which would cover breadth, but that doesn't leave me with any answer about what I will do with my second major. Would it be prudent to pick another language, most likely Indonesian, and study two languages concurrently, or would it actually kill me? (Figuratively, of course.  No sarcasm, thanks :-P). Has anyone done this, and did they lose their mind? Otherwise I will just fill the space with an assortment of English and creative writing subjects. Any advice would be appreciated substantially, thank-you

The best advice anyone could give you would be to study both of the languages alongside a politics subject during first semester (and even second). See which one you prefer, or if you're able to balance both without being figuratively killed.

Spanish does not count as breadth; it will count for 0-50 pts of Arts electives depending on what you cross-credit.
