Hey peeps

I' a got 3 electives left in my final semester of uni. I really need a few gpa boosting subjects. I believe I've already enrolled in ats 2743, but are there any other subjects that are as easy ?

Thank you!

I have heard from a million people that MTH2132 - The Nature and Beauty of Mathematics is incredibly easy. It's sort of learning all the cool conceptual things about maths, and involves little to no equations. It's also occupied by majority non-science/eng students, mainly consisting of arts/commerce students, so I reckon that speaks for itself. ;P There are some reviews on here last I checked, if you wanted to look at them.

Distance philosophy (get to nominate your mark), Professional writing academic writing, ASP1022 (not necessarily easy but not hard either). SCI1020.

This question gets asked so often on stalkerspace it isn't funny, so, check that out too.

Has anyone here actually done professional writing (ats1298)? It looks quite simple but is it an easy subject to get a HD in?

eeps (epl) did it i believe, that said, if you have room left to do first year units, you're really spoiled for choice. It only really gets hard when you have to do units from a certain faculty or 2nd year+ units.

Edit: Just realised i meant  to say ACADEMIC writing, not professional writing (although that looks easy too).

Nah, I did ATS1340 - English for academic purposes. Incredibly easy unit, goes through the basics of "What is a verb?" "What is a colon?" and so forth. That being said, because it's a first-year unit, your GPA/WAM doesn't increase substantially assuming you obtain a high HD. You're better off choosing a second or third-year unit as an elective to increase your GPA/WAM.

Not sure why I'm still enrolled in the unit on Moodle for 2015 either.
