Subject Selection: Questions concerning Levels & Breadths

I am currently trying to understand why on the online enrolment page there is science level 1, and then science level 1, 2 & 3. And then right after there is level 2 and level 3. Why makes science level 1,2 & 3 different from the other separate ones?

And what is "Science and breadth"? Is it any different from just Breadth?

I know...these are stupid questions...but I'm overseas and totally at loss at what to do (I didn't manage to attend Academic Advice Day, don't know whether they would have explained this stuff) I tried googling this stuff but didn't find anything satisfactory. Or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough.

Appreciate any kind of help...:)

in science 1/2/3, you can put a science of any level into the slot.
with the science and breadth slot, you put either science or breadths into it.

with the bsc, you know that you can either do 4 or 6 breadths. that means there need to be two slots that can be available for either science or breadth.

easiest way is to start filling the not broad slots, so fill up science level 1 first. and if you run out of space, then put subjects in science 1/2/3. Same deal with breadths, fill the breadth slots before you fill the science/breadth slots.

How about if you intend on doing 8 science subjects at level 1?

On my study planner, i have filled up all my other 7 science subjects on the available slots but i can't seem to enroll in the last one.

I tried using the "science / breadth" slot but it says it only applies to level 2-3 science/breadth, and i'm confused on what to do?

Any help will be appreciated :)

if you want to do 8, im pretty sure you need to contact the student centre and get them to manually put it in for you.
