WHY CAN THIS NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR B SCI.
2008 - 2010 | Bachelor of Production @ Victorian College of the Arts
2013 - 2015 | Bachelor of Science @ UoM (Bioengineering Systems)
2016 - 2017 | Master of Engineering (Biomedical) @ UoM

Not sure, I don't know too much about it since I'm not taking it.

you have the master of bioinformatics open you you given you do two level 2 maths and stats subjects.
(i seriously considered changing my major to stats for it's usefulness in bio, but then remembered that stats is so dry i'd probably claw my eyeballs out)

Actually I emailed the coordinator and I am eligible for the M-SCi (Bioinformatics) with my current lineup of subjects (under the biology stream). Which is cool! Still would rather do the M-Eng with a diploma in Bioinformatics on the side though.

o.O oh really? i thought the prereqs were statistics and probability for statistics. or maybe those were just "recommended subjects" since i was reading from the maths and stats course guide. =___=

Official prereqs for m-science (bioinformatics) is Calculus 1, and >65% in your undergrad, plus a major that is either biology-centred, computing-centred or maths-centred. It seems pretty flexible and Bioeng Systems works if you use your 'spare'/flexible subjects to target one of these three areas.
