Hello everyone,
I have this biomed transition program and I'm wondering, is it worth it going?

Yes, it's definitely worth it! It's fun and it helps orient you around campus (which will help with the notoriously confusing Building 13), you get free food and probably free beer assuming you are of age, and it's a brilliant opportunity to meet new people.

That last part is especially important as biomed as a course is very cohort-based (e.g. all your lectures are together, you'll be sharing labs with many of those people as well) and it's very helpful to make as many friends as you can - the transition program is probably the best way of doing that.

Have fun!
