I will try harder just to make you guys proud.ppl day jac tests are hard. I usually get 60- 85 and I once got a 94%. Any tips for reading comp?  Again thanks, it makes me even happier that u both got into good schools.

HAHA don't work for us, work for yourself! :)

Eh, i guess i fall into the 'lazy-bum, fluke-artist' category. I never really started working hard until this year.

If JAC has the same scoring criteria, I used to get the 85-95% range for english and maths, but at the same time, friends who got 70-80 ended up in MHS. It's all about perspective.

Hey guys, so I am wondering what you did to get 90%-100%. What did you study how far did you go into maths yr9 or 10? The tests are mostly 50 or 60 questions. How did you do it with making more than 5 mistakes?  That is my goal but I still find it hard. I usually get from 60-80% which higher than most and by jac ranking gives me a superior. In the jac tests 90-95% is highest mark. Advice?

I disagree. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I'd be very surprised if I got below 80% for numerical reasoning and maths back in the day, can't say the same for verbal reasoning and reading comprehension but 80%+ definitely happens.

JAC is harder than the real exam.

As for the rounding given your cohort best to call them up and ask, the admin at MHS are quite friendly.

Good luck with it all!

Thanks Pi, I might try ring up MHS. BTW 80+ is really good, you mustve been really smart. Is doing reading comp and maths tests good enough prep or do i have to like go through every part of english like understanding context, poetic techniques.( I am just reading the topics from my JAC results). If the real test is easier than JAC I will blaze through it but a friend who is in MHS who did the test last year said the tests were alot like the JAC and not much easier. I find the practice test on the DEECD website easy and finished them with 10 mins to spare and in the end got 2 or 3 wrong. I am close to finishing the year 9 maths syllabus and completed year 8 already. After that i will just revise both. My friend who did the test in 2013 apparently used to get 90+ in all subjects and ended up with 5 sups and 1 high average. I would love advce from anyone that did the test in 2013 or 2012. ( if you dont have an account it is super easy to make one ). Please help me pass the exam :) ;)

You look to be in good shape haha, I am struggling to receive over 50% in all the maths tests at JAC. And that still puts me in the Above Average slot on there - LOL :P.

Edit: This is for JMSS class btw... :)
