heys i was wondering for spesh exams which companies do you reckon represent good difficulty while at the same time relevance/similarities to VCAA exams, because im beginning to collect trial exam papers and i dont think i can do them all so i just want to do a select few(saving the environment). Haha plus i dont want to be waiting in line at september to print off exams at my school. Also is this the same for methods? if it is then great i dont need to make another thread! if not please state the difference of exam companies that you have chosen.

To get ball rolling ive listed exam companies' names so it is easier for people to answer
Heffernan
TSSM
Itute
Insight
Kilbaha
MAV
NEAP
TSFX
TSSM
IARVT

anything else?

I would recommend NEAP and TSSM. Avoid Itute, they tend to include irrelevant material.

And I think kilbaha. I don't recommend you to complete their practice exams under exam conditions but if you get the time, try out some relevant questions.

MAV also produce good trials.

MAV and NEAP are the only positive memories I have in my mind relating to practice exams.  HOWEVER, the TSFX exam which included questions on the Lambert W function was suitably amusing :P

Spec and practice exams never exactly went together with me... I remember doing NEAP though, that one was decent.

It was the Methods paper, I remember not being able to do half of it =/

Not sure about spec, but should watch out...
