OPINIONS WANTED: Context Pieces

Hi everyone,

Just wanted your opinions on context pieces. What type of piece do you prefer? Why? Tips and tricks for writing a specific type of context (e.g. expository, creative, persuasive) anything you want.
Personally I am a big fan of persuasive, but I find it hard to begin writing one. Also, not many other students choose to write a persuasive so it doesn't get much time to discuss in class.

Good luck

I prefer persuasive or expository, because I find it difficult to sustain an imaginative piece at the level required to achieve a good mark.
With persuasive, make sure your contention is very clear because it will make writing your piece a lot easier. Or at least that's what I've found when I've written them.

I love imaginative pieces, however I find that simply constructing a solid one in 50 or 60 minutes is too hard.
So persuasive for me! :)

Imaginative because it allows me to improvise my way through which makes things easier and more fun for me!

Personal tip: I like to extrapolate out from metaphors :)
