Awesome, thanks for posting!

With a 6.5-6.6 GPA and 65 GAMSAT (64 UMelb) do I have a shot at Melb/Deakin/Monash for CSP or BMP? Like a decent shot, not a minimum requirements and hope you get lucky shot. Will probably get 2% bonus I think.

I wouldn't be confident with a GPA below 7 unless I had a GAMSAT above 70.

S1 however is a mixed bag, answers are pretty vague. But more practise questions, the better.

Is it better to just get the green series for science rather than both?
How accurate are these sorts of things at describing entry criteria? http://pagingdr.net/info/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=207:2014-entry-minimum-scores&catid=56:gpa-and-offer-criteria&Itemid=109
is the value for melbourne uni seems a bit low since the impression i get from reading on this forums are that people need to get crazy gamsat and gpa ??? :o

You might claw into an interview for Melbourne but you would need a killer interview to get a CSP. If you did get a place with an average interview, you would either get BMP or FFP.
You have a higher chance or getting a CSP at Deakin though, pretty competitive.

I think with a ~6.5GPA and 65 Gammy you have a good shot at Deakin. With regards to Melbourne, I think you're borderline or in the lower proportion of other applicants. If you ace the interview, anything can happen though!
PS. I'm tossing up whether to do the gamsat again next year or in september. I didn't score too well (54 in S1) and this is what resulted in relatively average score. I kind of want to just take one more shot at it but I'm split on whether to risk taking it next year (and if I do crap again) I won't have many options open to me. But at the same time if I take the UK gammy how could I improve my S1 score in the meantime? :(
Thanks! :)

Do both GAMSAT UK this year and GAMSAT AUS next year. Focus on S1 a lot in both times.
How did you study for S1?

That value is the minimum entry requirement. It is probably too low for a CSP or BMP and doesn't say whether it took into account rural students
I reckon a GPA/7 + GAMSAT/100 combo of 1.62 is probably competitive for a CSP, for non-rural candidates.
And as for Des I have no idea what he puts in his Green book since I didn't have it. I had a blue revision book and a red MCQ book.
