Lectures Advice

Hey my friends and I are considering to go to some mid-year revision lectures for chemistry and methods, any recommendation? I know there are lots of companies which run these lectures such as, TSFX, engage education, NEAP, TSSM... etc, but we aren't not sure which one is the best. Our school also gives us free access to Vic Uni's lectures, are they any good? Please help me outtttt

Thanks

Not sure about chem, but I know Connect Education was reaaaaallly useful for Methods!! They're pretty affordable too, and the notes provided are extremely useful, so give that a try :)

Was thinking of going to a couple, are these lectures really effective? Or a waste of time?

They're not going to bring you from a 30 to a 50, but they aren't a complete waste either. What they essentially do is recap everything learnt in unit 3 and go into unit 4 a little bit, how useful that is to you is really up to you and whether the lecture justifies paying for a ticket is again up to you.

I went to connect education economics lecture both mid and end of year last year, and can say it wouldn't have been the deciding factor in my score, since so much other work was involved, but it definitely did help me get my head around the subject and not forget things during holidays.

TSFX is great for chem - they give you stacks of useful notes and I am going to connect English but I have some of their bio and accounting notes and they're very good too. By Vic unis lectures do you mean VCTA?

Not sure, I think it is just lectures that run by Victoria University.
