Hi,
This is the general structure I follow (not always in this order). I scored 19/20 on language analysis SAC too.
Intro:
-contextual sentence/s
-analysis of title, author, publication, importance of author's position (if appropriate to article)
-author's contention
-author's intended audience
-analysis of title (depending on the article, I might maybe include this elsewhere)
Body paragraphs:
-discuss the strategy used by the author (this is a big idea throughout the piece - doing this forces you to analyse the text as a whole instead of in isolation)
-argument, techniques --> describe impact these have on the audience (how they are to think and feel)
-if appropriate, link ideas in body paragraphs back to overall contention
Conclusion:
-I like to analyse how the author concludes because I think this is a logical place to end discussion
-discuss how the author ends and the overall impact of the article (e.g. is the article prompting a call to action? etc)
I have also included a practice piece I wrote that scored very highly

Any questions, feel free to PM me
