Zealous I just realised you got premiers for further congrats! Any tips on minimising the silly mistakes, especially for the core- sometimes I write my reg equation with fractions when it says to round, or I use r instead of r^2
Read the question as many times as possible and underline/circle/highlight specific things like "to 2 decimal places". If you have enough time try approach the question again but without looking at your answer or any of your working out like a fresh clean slate.

Because a lot of core is done on your calculator, try to get nice and fast on your calculator. This will allow you to spend more time looking over your answers and making sure they make sense, you've provided the right units and also that your response matches what the question is asking for.

For regression equations specifically: although using fractions is very good in methods for accuracy, further exams will almost always ask you to round to a certain amount of decimal places.

All the best for your studies!

Why is the median better then the mean other then these two reasons? - skewed and outliers..

thanks

The median isn't affected by extreme values or outliers, while the mean uses every data in the data set. If there's outliers the data would become distorted and inaccurate. Similar thing i think for skewed data.
