Business to Commerce at Melb Uni transfer?

First year student here, considering a switch to Commerce at Melb Uni. Campus is closer to home, and travel is a big issue as well for me.

What sort of average do I need by the end of this year? And do I essentially apply for Commerce at Melb Uni via VTAC when preferences open later this year as a Non-Year 12?

What's the criteria/process?
