Anyone doing/done Commerce? Subject recommendations?

Hi,

I'm choosing subjects for semester 2 first year, though I'm not sure what to pick.

I'm thinking of majoring in Finance and Eco/Marketing.

I was wondering for those who have done or is currently thinking of the same majors, or anyone doing commerce, what subjects do you recommend taking?

For these majors I know I've already satisfied the level 1 subjects prereqs for level 2 subjects.

I have done QM1, Intro micro, Finance 1, PBL. I'm thinking of doing Intro Macro, Principles of Marketing, and Corporate Law (not sure if there's sem2 intake..), but I'm clueless on the fourth subject.

Any insight/advice would be highly appreciated!

Thank you :)

My advice as a fellow commerce student (I'm doing Accounting and Finance) would be to do Intro Macro, Principles of Marketing, another breadth subject, and either OB, QM2/Intro Econometrics, or Business Finance. :) Corp Law is only offered during Semester 1. But it depends on what you want anyway. Good luck!

Business finance would be my choice. Its a core subject for both the accounting and finance majors; so it keeps your options open.
