Wanting advice on year 12 food & technology

I'm not doing food tech this year, because I dropped it to pick another year 12 subject (I'm in year 11). I love food tech; because I just like it and want to do it next year, but the thing is I haven't done units 1&2. I was just wondering if I could get someone's/or people's opinion on whether you think if it would be difficult to pick up year 12 food without having done year 11 food? Also, do you guys like the subject, and how are your folios going?

I did 3/4 Food Tech last year and I'd definitely recommend it! Picking it up isn't really and issue, because about 5 girls in my class picked it up last year and 4 of them scored over 40 (one of them got a 49) so there's no reason as to why you couldn't get a high SS if you're just picking up units 3&4.

I loved Food Tech (and still do, not that I'm doing it anymore!) Everything you study is so applicable to everyday life and it was just a fun subject to take that broke up the routine of school. Folio was the highlight of 3/4 for me. Folio was a lot of work, but it was great to see everything coming together!

Wow! That's so high! Okay, I'm definitely keen on picking it up next year. I hope my school allows it. Yeah, I'm looking forward to the folio, even though it is a lot of work.
