For the ratio question, wouldn't it be equal to one? Are we talking about distilled water? Because if we are, the ionisation of H2O increases which decreases the pH (because the concentration of H+ increases - but so too does the concentration of OH-), but if I understand it correctly the solution doesn't become acidic because the concentration of H+ is equal to the concentration of OH-
