Business objectives are the goals that the organisation wants to achieve. Many organisations aim to manufacture or distribute a product(s) or provide a service(s), and operate on either a profit or not-for-profit basis. To achieve these goals, the human resource manager must manage the workers to perform the tasks necessary to produce or distribute the product or provide the service. The human resource manager as part of the human resource management function will use strategies such as motivational, organisational, planning and/or controlling strategies to make the most effective use of the available human resources. Examples of strategies that could be used include high-risk and low-risk strategies, such as rewards, recognition, rostered days off, higher wages, and empowerment and greater involvement in the production/distribution process.

HR planning is all about motivating the staff so they can achieve the business objectives more efficiently and quickly.

This is actually incorrect, and I believe you are referring to human resource management (the previous section of AOS1).

HR Planning refers to forecasting future human resource needs for an organisation. That is, how many people will be required in the future, and what qualifications they will need to have to effectively complete the job.

In relation to business objectives:

Business objectives are goals that an organisation aims to achieve, for example improving skills of employees to have a multiskilled workforce.

HR may respond to this through implementing training and development of existing employees, and HR planning by ensuring people in the future have skills desired in business objectives to achieve organisational objectives.
