Why is the physics textbook so boring?

We are using the Jacaranda textbook and it is literally the most boring thing I have ever read... does year 12 physics get better?

I find the Khan Academy to be much better to learn physics, which sections are most related to 3/4 physics?

Jacaranda.... arrrgh. Using Jac Studyon for chemistry 1/2 - worst thing ever. Heinemann Physics is somewhat better imo.
