It was a great game though. You guys fought back very hard in the last bit.. Was extremely nervous, I must say.

We need to get our act together for next week. No more fumbles. The umpires didn't exactly help our situation either.

Somehow I want to blame Mackie for that free goal he gave North early on, but in all honesty the Kangas dominated us for 3 quarters of the game. If we had gone through, Sydney would have eaten us.

Hawkins was amazing as per usual! Since the Cats are out, I ship Freo to win it.

Ross Lyon will never, ever, ever, EVER, ever win a premiership.

My tips are on Hawthorn to win this grand final. Although, the way North and Port are performing, they have a great chance too! Its gonna be great set of finals next week  ;D

Sydney have always been really good throughout the year, so no big change. Hawks are similar but they are doing great with no buddy. North and Port are unusual semi final picks, so kinda keen!

I'm extremely surprised how well North have played - didn't think they would get to where they are now. Very proud. Let's hope it continues (although unlikely - Sydney have their best players ready to go). I have faith they can pull it off, dependent on whether Harvey doesn't have a case to answer via the MRP for that clash with Selwood (looked accidental to me). Go Roos! :D

P.s - anyone who watched the Roos vs Cats game (or went to it for that matter), see John Longmire having a good look in the crowd? :P That's determination coming down interstate just to watch a potential opposing side :) very tactical move

Brent Harvey found not guilty by the AFL Tribunal for the clash with Joel Selwood last friday night. Very happy with that news. The chance for a win has increased. :) Although it's looking like the Swans will win at this stage.

For those who aren't aware and want to read more:

I know alot of people have differing opinions on what the outcome should have been tonight... so for those that have been following, thoughts?

I'm okay with the ruling though I would have to say that Joel Selwood giving evidence at the AFL Tribunal was pretty cool!

I was more following the AA Squad this year and I guess this year's squad has been pretty good though a few unlucky ones like Jacobs and Parker (should have replaced Sandilands and Pendlebury [average year]). VC would have been Boak if he wasn't named on the Bench imo.

I think anyone with an issue on the ruling has probably never played a contact sport in their life. Not even saying this as a North supporter, it just wasn't a suspendable (or even a reportable) offence.

Definitely gained a bit of respect for Joel Selwood! Not one of my favourite players but he sure as hell is tonight, lol!
