Hi, I am in year.11 and just looking at uni courses
and I was wondering what does the Monash law course involve?

I have read the course description on the Monash website, but I feel like I still don't exactly know what the course involves.
I have heard it is a lot of reading?

Any explanations/experiences would be appreciated!

What do you mean by what does it involve? Subject wise it's the same as any other Law course, with the compulsory subjects obviously all there (Torts, Contracts, Crim, Con, etc) and then a range of electives. It involves sitting in lectures listening to people talk about how the area of law you're studying, then going home and doing a tonne of reading, then going back to lectures, then reading, then lectures... wash rinse repeat.

Read the Law FAQ, do some research on your job prospects, research how much debt the course will put you in, and make the trip to Monash and sit through a couple of lectures and see how you like it. You could go as far as talking to a practising lawyer if they'll lend you their time (call firms and hassle them).
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️
