Doctor of Physiotherapy

I'm currently a first year and already so worried about making it into my desired postgrad course in physiotherapy. First semester… I didn't do so great. Averaged 65. This semester is looking a little bit better but I still can't see myself getting any H1s. I just need to know if this is out of my reach and if I should aim for something else. On their website, it says theres a minimum of a 70% GPA. However, I've heard that a lot of people don't get in because of their grades. What should I be aiming for to be "competitive"?

To be competitive at least a H2A average, preferably a H1 average.
Why aim for something else?  Why not just aim for better grades.  First year is the least important year when they consider your GPA - there's heaps of room for you to improve.  A lot of people take a while to settle in to uni and often in first year you find yourself taking subjects you're not too crash hot at and don't enjoy entirely (eg for me, physics).  Once you get into the swing of uni life a bit more and know what working styles are best for you, H1s or H2As shouldn't be out of reach for you.  You imply you're improving this semester - just aim to keep improving, rather than redefining your goals because you're concerned you can't reach them.
