Double Degrees

Hi,
Just a question about double degrees. If I were to start a double degree next year and after the first year I felt like I didn't like/didn't want to do one of the degrees anymore, is it possible to drop one degree and continue on the other?

^Yep, definitely possible. There are two things that can happen; one is where you simply drop a degree, while the other - I think the university calls it an "alternative exit" - is where I'm still enrolled in a double degree but I've completed all the credit needed for one of those degrees and I decide to GTFO with just that one.

Say you do a biomed/eng double degree, is it possible to fast track the biomed degree so that you'd have finished it by the end of three years, but still have done some engineering units?

You probably could (the university generally doesn't care what order you do your units in so long as you don't have any issues with prerequisite units and prohibitions). The thing is, even if you've finished all your biomed credits you obviously can't graduate with a BBiomedSc/BEng until you complete the eng credit requirements.
