Non-vcaa exams

Are the exams made by other companies apart from VCAA meant to be harder? Like TSSM, Insight, Lisachem, NEAP etc...

Yes, the majority of them are a lot harder than the VCE exam, especially NEAP...

Dear me...the number of incorrect questions I've come across in those...

'Dear exam company,

It appalls me to see how you've described a 1 M solution of KF as being neutral. Please explain to me how F- is not a base, given that HF is a weak acid as described in the data book.

Thank you! That makes me feel a lot better, cause I've noticed I tend to do worse on the other companies...

I agree, and some of the wording is bizarre too.

Yeah, their wording is often horrible. They also make fundamental chemical errors.
