Allowed to use pencil?

Hey Guys!
People have been telling me that you're only allowed to use pen for the exam (pencil is only allowed for graphs). Is this true?

No. You can use pencil for the whole thing, but you risk it being smudged (probably not a very big risk).

If you're using pencil for the whole thing, make sure its fairly dark. Last thing you want is to be getting the right answers and right methods but examiners being unable to read it
