My teacher said to write in pen because pencil might not show up when they scan it through, is this true?

I think they generally tell you, but in every single year 12 exam I've ever done, they want it in pen.

You can do diagrams in pencil though

Yep, from what I know they scan the paper so the risk with using pencil is it not showing up/being faint. If that happens I think they'll just be annoyed and have to get someone to look at the actual paper and mark it. I used pen last year for the exam (but pencil for diagrams) :)

Use pen to be safe, but i think it might be fine if you use a dark pen (eg 2B)
