So how did everyone find it? I found this years farily reasonably, slightly harder than previous years. Multiple choice took ages, omg. But overall the exam wasn't too bad, how did everyone else feel?

multiple choice was more difficult than any of the previous years IMO, extended response seemed pretty fair. For the vector question I equated B - 1 to positive a / 2 ...... ended up with an answer of 2 for B and a which I should've recognised was impossible.

The way I did it was equal the two equations for 'x' in terms of u, a and t. For the 5kg mass I equalled x+3 to the equation and just x= for the 3kg mass. If you take over the 3, and equal the two equations, you can solve for t. It was just lucky I stumbled across the formula while frantically searching on the formula sheet for some guidance.

There's exam discussion over here in the dedicated threads:
Specialist Mathematics

The normal maths boards are not for exam discussion, so feel free to discuss over there!
