Why did you start learning a musical instrument?

Started violin at 3 (Suzuki method FTW); I think my parents wanted me to have a nice hobby.

I played in eisteddfods regularly in primary school, played in local orchestra..

Still enjoy playing casually :)

i sing...dunno if thats counted as a musical instrument LOL. but this yr i want to pick up something new, my choices are flute, clarinet and saxaphone, which do you guys recommend?

Just thought I'd let you know, flute is awesome ;D.


Our school has a mandatory 1 year instrument programme. II chose the flute (because it was the only one small enough to fit into my school bag) and I've never regretted it since.

 blank i will personally avenge your death if you don't choose saxophone! hahah nah seriously, it is one of those instruments that instantly puts you in a relaxed, blissful mood.. be sure to check you out at some gigs coming up in no time :P
