Algorithmics contains university level computer science theory which involves quite a bit of mathematics. I can confirm this because I have just completed a computer science subject that is essentially the equivalent of this subject @ 2nd year uni level. Have you taken a look at the study design to see the content it covers? It would be really ideal if you had a strong maths background too. The link that Ned Nerb has posted above is the Algorithmics subforum, so that would be a better place to post.

I've had a look at the study design. I'm doing 1+2 Methods and finding it pretty easy, I know how to code an android app pretty well with Google's material design guidelines. I'm already doing further maths now and probably will get over 35 Study score depending on how I go on the exam. I'm going to be doing Algorithmics over Distance Education. I want a career in software engineering. What do I have to do now to prepare for Algorithmics(math or programming wise)? Thanks
