OHH MY GAWWDD (*fangirl scream)
Since this side of the forum is now active (ish ish the last post's date was yesterday!) - Can I please ask what you guys do in classics vce? I wanna pick it up as a Unit 2 next semester because I've always been fascinated about the culture surrounding the ancient worlds. But the thing is - I have no idea what it's gonna be like. Apparently it's a mixture between literature and history which I'm not so fussed about since I love English as a subject :P Any thoughts on the subject you might wanna add - it'd be great to hear!

classics is really great, basically looking at ancient greek texts, examining key ideas, sociohistorical context, technique etc. there's a fair bit of reading, you learn a lot more about the culture (it's less text specific in 1/2) the mythology they believe in etc. you'll enjoy it tonnnnnnnss :)
