Melbourne Access Scholarship

I have received a Melbourne Access Scholarship however when choosing 'accept' on the scholarship offer page, it requires me to give a reason on why I should accept. I am confused as to what to write. Does this impact whether I get the scholarship? Any help would be great.

Would you just write similar to what was on your VTAC application, ie the reason you want the scholarship?

No, you will get the scholarship regardless.  You usually have to give a reason for accepting or rejecting - is it a page where you also choose whether you accept or reject at the time (eg, check a box)? If so, the reason section will mostly be important for people rejecting - they want to know why you don't want their scholarship. If not, just write that you want the scholarship basically.

I thought they came out closer to when offers come out...at least that's what other threads say. And access scholarships didn't need an application, apparently you just needed seas (which could be what you're referring to)

i received an email on the 15th of December although I hear that you're also supposed to receive a letter in the mail but I haven't gotten anything yet. So do I just say something like "I would like this scholarship as I would like to attend the University of Melbourne."  ?

Yep, you could literally write 'Because I am cool' and they will still give you the scholarship.
